My journey into therapy began while working in the Emergency Department during my undergraduate degree. This path illuminated my belief in a therapeutic approach that blends mindfulness techniques with strategies to handle difficult emotions, thoughts, and situations with openness and resilience. Through ACT, I empower clients to embrace their emotions fully while committing to actions aligned with their core values.
Additionally, my practice integrates Motivational Interviewing, a collaborative conversation style that strengthens motivation and commitment to change. I work alongside clients, respecting their autonomy and inner wisdom, to explore ambivalence and unearth intrinsic motivations for positive growth. This approach not only facilitates self-discovery but also enhances readiness for change.
I work with individuals facing a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, academics, and men’s issues. Each session is tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of the individual, fostering a safe space for exploration and growth.
